University bike week

Next week is bike week in Catalan universities. Each university will hold Bicicampus activities for one day. We'll see you on Monday, October 22nd at Lleida University, on Tuesday 23rd at the UB and UPC in Barcelona, on Wednesday 24th at the UAB and Thursday 25th at Girona University.

Maybe it's a good time to start travelling to university by bike. If you don't have one yet, find out about the possibilities offered by Bicicampus to help you get one. It'll be a special week, when we'll be thinking about sustainable transport and the role of bikes in cities, but don't worry, you'll have fun too as there will be street drumming, food, Professor Algarrobo and much more... BiciCampus launches a different type of advertising campaign

YouTube, mobile phones, Second Life, Messenger....if the world of marketing is constantly changing, it is because you are changing the rules. Although the people at BiciCampus might not be from the same generation as you, we want to speak your language. We don't want to make fools of ourselves though so we have hired Professor Algarrobo, an expert in guerrilla marketing, which is all the rage at the moment, or at least that's what he tells us...

As you can see on his page, this marketing expert is inviting you to take part in spreading the word about the campaign. To do this he has created his own Internet TV programme that he calls a videopodcast (I've got no idea what that's all about). He has also created his own blog and he has uploaded all the material so that you can use it freely. This is why we have not papered the universities with posters and leaflets.

Good luck Professor Algarrobo, your contract depends on them.
